A 24 year old woman died Wednesday night in Independence Missouri after being hospitalized with symptoms (diarrhea, coughing and extreme fatigue) of the swine flu. They have not released her name. The department of health stated that the woman had no pre-existing medical conditions which has been the case with many of the deaths caused by the swine flu.
If this flu is spread like any other flu than how is it that there is only one person here or there that is coming down with this flu? I think that there is more that is not being said. When one person gets the flu the chances of them spreading it to atleast one person is 100%. So how can we really believe that there is only one.
So far, that I know of , there has been this one, one in Jasper, one in St. Louis and one in this end of Kansas. But then again we are only hearing about the ones that die. They are not telling us what the actual numbers are. I don't know about you but I don't like not knowing. How can we truly protect ourselves and our children if we are not aware of all the facts.
Its very scary. I know having children I want to know all I can to protect them. Even with just the regular flu. And trying to find out where to get flu shots isnt all that easy. The swine flu though seems to be way worse then it started out as and its still early in the season isnt it?
